Classic picture:
---morning joint stiffness for more than 30 minutes, that improves with use.
---SYMMETRIC joints involvement
---SYSTEMIC symptoms: fever, fatigue, pleuritis, pericarditis
Treat:
---NSAID
---COX-2 inhibitors
---glucocorticoids
---disease-modifying drugs:
Methotrexate,
Sulphasalazine,
Hydroxychloroquine
