Granuloma tours inflammation of the media
Fragmentation of the elastic lamina of the medium and small branches of the carotid artery
Headache
Facial pain
Jaw claudication (difficulty chewing)
Vision loss (ophthalmic artery occlusion)
Increased ESR
To prevent vision loss therapy with prednisone should be started as soon as possible
