ADH (vasopressin)

       Normal function of antidiuretic hormone:
  • prevents changes of plasma osmolarity
  • restore N BP
  • restore N blood volume
  • decreases urine flow
  • increases urine osmolarity
  • increases reabsorption of water
  • increases permeability of renal collecting duct to water.
